No Comments What are the Google rules?
Finally I have had one of my adverts accepted by Google Adwords. It was originally declined 10 days ago because the destination URL wasn’t working. However, at the time of creating this particular advert, I created another 3 which all used the same destination URL and were all excepted.
Google have since admitted it was a mistake at their end, however it took 10 days to get the advert reinstated after much editing to get it re-processed. For some reason I have NEVER had this problem with Microsoft Adcentre, and in the past, they have even phoned me up to get my authorisation to change an advert (mispelling) rather than decline it. The customer service I get from Microsoft, for some reason, is second to none and goes against the grain when reading other people blogs.
Anyway, back to Google and destinationn URL’s not working. If you search on Google UK for Adwords, you will notice at the top is a sponsored link, no doubt by Google themselves for the Google Adwords program. You will notice that the Display URL is www.Google.co.uk/AdWords, however if you try visiting that URL, you will see it doesn’t exist!

Talk about one rule for one, another rule for another.
