Christmas has arrvied

It’s been a while since my last post, and to be honest I haven’t been able to spend as much time updating my sites as I would have liked. I’ve been pretty busy in my fulltime position, and have also just returned from a short break in Vegas where the original idea was to do some shopping, gambling and celebrating after Hattons wine…

Whilst out there, I stumbled across WebmasterWorld’s Search & Internet Marketing Conference (PubCon) by accident as I jumped off the monorail at the wrong stop. At first I was shocked to see so many people walking around in cowboy hats and thought this was the new dress code for internet conferences. After all, some of the shoes Matt Wood has worn in the past, I it wouldn’t surprise me! I quickly realised there was some sort of Rodeo finals taking place, and also a Cowboy Christmas Market right next door.

Anyway, Christmas has arrived in terms of shoppers and I’m seeing an increase in commissions as people are starting to panic buy. I’m not sure if this is due to better exposure as I’ve started some offline promotion which I’m not really tracking which is silly of me. I’m also mad busy after attending our works Christmas party less than 24hrs of touching down from Vegas, and now only have a few hours before I am off again for a break… this time to get over Vegas. Next year, I believe its Australia I’m visiting :D

Since being home, I’ve also been lucky enough to receive cards and presents from a few of the networks and wanted to say a quick thank you;

Can you reply to my e-mails please? Your site is still appearing on the misspell “nterflora” and I’m keen to hear from you on how this is happening. We’ve been trying to resolve this for some time now, but I haven’t heard from you. My last comment on this site – a request for a reply seems to have been removed.

Yes your last comment was removed from my blog as it, like this, had no relation whatsoever with the post that you were commenting on.

I am aware you have contacted me and you are aware that I have been away on holiday, hence the lack of response.

Just to make clear, my advert does appear on certain mispells, however I would like to point out that I am no in way related or affiliated with Interflora whatsoever, so therefore I am not breaking any terms and conditions.

I’m sure you’ll appreciate that right now my efforts are being concentrated on websites that generate sales for merchants who have chosen to work with me.

I agreed that I would negatively list mispells of Interflora, and said that I would be doing this as a favour as I am not required to do so in anyway, as there is no relation between myself and Interflora. As previously mentioned, I will do this, as a favour, however right now it is not a priority.

I too have much better things to do Chris, such as producing assets & plans for the publishers on our programme (and spending time with my kids on a Sunday afternoon).

This has been going on for quite some time. I’d anticipated that my open and respectful approach with you on this issue might have warranted more timely and positive action.

Lee – Neil did try to contact me via email, however as mentioned I was away on holiday and therefore wasn’t picking up all my emails. I presume this is why he has opted for comments on my blog which I personally disagree with.

Neil – I appreciate your respectful approach however when I am on holiday then a more timely approach is out of the question, especially as I am not an affiliate of Interflora. I am sure if your employer, like mine, asked you to produce plans whilst on vacation, you would flip… I know I would! Also, please bear in mind that I do work fulltime outside of the AM industry. I also hope that by simply having me agree to do this in the first position, shows positive action on my behalf as some affiliates would point blank refuse!
