A Massive Christmas Thank You

I thought it was about time I did a quick Christmas round up, to thank everyone who has sent cards, presents, festive well wishes and competition prizes over the past few weeks. Looking at the list it’s probably the best Crimbo so far

All the above are very much appreciated. The gifts and competition prizes are fantastic and very much appreciated. I’m also glad to report that my Christmas website has generated more sales than ever before which has prompted me to start preparing for Valentines Day Presents!

Its also good to read about other affiliates who are reaping rewards from their efforts. George blogs over at Entrepreneur.co.uk and he’s tracking his success on a monthly basis. Although not yet reaching his targets, its good to see it heading in the right direction!

Frostie Is Back To His Affiliate Winning Ways

Its been quite for a few months since I last won anything and I’ve noticed a few other affiliates have been hitting on my terrorty of prize winning, most notably Ray! I am glad to report that I’ve recalimed my territory and I’m back winning prizes but this time not all of them are affiliate competitions!

I enter a general online competition no more than once every 6 months, if that. However, by entering the K-Swiss competition at the end of February I was the lucky winner of a pair of K-Swiss Ariake Running Shoes!

The timing of winning these shoes couldn’t have come at a better time to be honest. Over the weekend I received my first Easter Egg thanks to the lovely Claire over at Gizoo (on the DGM Affiliate Network). Obviously the Egg has since disappeared, so now I will be making use of my new shoes in preparation for the Manchester 10k which is only a few weeks away. Also worth noting is that Helen Southgate from DGM agreed to take part in the Manchester 10k with me, so I am sure in the coming weeks we will be begging for sponsorship from all you rich affiliates

Finally, I am also the lucky owner of a Blackberry Curve 8310. The competition was held by DGM in conjunction with the Vodafone programme whereby prizes were put up for every affiliate that had partnered with them on DGM. One of the prizes was a massive £1000 cash lump sum! It turns out that the incentive was such a success that Vodafone & DGM are running the competition again, so now is the time to get those Vodafone links in place. You could be next to walk away with a cool £1000 in your back pocket!

I’ll be honest… I’m not quite sure how to use the Blackberry yet as there are so many options, and being a bloke, I refuse to read the manual

Vodafone Comeptitions And Incentives Available To All

Vodafone currently have 2 competitions, both of which are due to end today (29th Feb) that are open to all new and existing affiliates via the DGM network. Unlike some competitions from merchants, the Vodafone competitions aren’t based on sales number, or driven by targets, meaning that smaller or newer affiiates have a chance of winning.

To be in with a chance – names are drawn from a hat – all an affiliate has to do, is create a webpage or blog entry about Vodafones latest mobile broadband offerings, both conusmer and / or business;
- to win Champions League tickets, write about Vodafone Mobile Broadband for consumers
- to win a Blackberry, write about Vodafone Business Mobile Broadband

On top of these free to enter competitions and to help push affiliates that little bit extra, they are also offering sales based incentives;
Business Sales – an additional £50.00 commission on your first 10 sales
Consumer – additional entries to win a cool £1000

Is this blog entry counted? I doubt it very much, as I am not talking about the products themselves. However I thought it nice of Vodafone to offer a competition which new affiliates could win, along side incentives/competition that the larger affiliates are most likely to win or benefit from.

It certainly grabbed my attention and made me do an update here and there. Guess I will now have to update my traffic lights again
