Last nights I was pinged by Shak for a general chitter chatter and was told to keep an eye out for a breaking news headline tomorrow morning. First thing I was up, coffee in hand with Sky News on, bleary eyes half expecting to see Shak being interviewed as to what made him purchase a World Island in Dubai. I saw nothing but Gloucestershire being underwater

I’ve been bugged by MSN not allowing me to sign-in so was unable to bug Shak for making me get up so damn early! Finally I pop along to A4U Forums and find the news story I’ve been waiting for. Turns out Shak has flogged Lightstate and the buyer is no other than those people at buy.at as reported here.

Its fantastic news for both buy.at and Shak among others, and shows the continual speedy growth of the buy.at monster, albeit their first acqusition since they were founded in 2002. Exciting times lie ahead!

Going back to the World Island in Dubai…. that mustn’t be too far away now
