I was so busy eating my chocolates I didn’t realise that a rather bulky letter was also waiting for me (along with my gas and electricty bills sadly). I opened it up to find a USB Keyring, the same type as those that I had just given away to fellow affiliates as I had too many and they were sitting there gathering dust. However this one was a little different!

Affiliate Window Invitation

The USB Keyring was pre-loaded with the latest statistics for every merchant that’s been live on Affiliate Window for over 3 months. The spreadsheets contains everything you could wish for, if you’re a serious stato, including Conversion Rates, EPC, Approval Rates, Validation Times, Cookie Length etc. Also enclosed was a summary of Affiliate Windows ShopWindow that Kieron blogged about not so long ago.

Not so long ago, I mentioned on MSN to someone at Affiliate Window (Ross, Nicky or Sam… maybe it was Julie or Julia… or even Ant, James or Pete? God knows, it seems I have the whole AWin office on MSN ;)). Anyway I mentioned that I’d find it beneficial if they could sit down with me, explain ShopWindow little more, and even get a techy to run through stuff with me, as it is something I want to get into, and quickly! Well, what can I say? Affiliate Window have listened to what I said, and have come up trumps.

They have asked me to head down to London and offered to spend sometime with me, and a few others, for a very small informal meeting. Sure, I have to arrange 2 days holiday and stump up some cash for travel/accomodation, but when a network is so willing and pro-active, I’d be silly to turn this opportunity down.

Thank you AWin for the invite. I’ll be in touch once I cleared holidays etc, and look forward to the evening.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the kind words - just as a follow-up, for those who were a little further afield we enclosed a compliment slip that said we’d help pay for travelling expenses?

If you didn’t, apologies, but drop me an email and I’ll give you more info.

Also, on ShopWindow Amo will be able to help you out - I’ll also send you his contact details.

Look forward to seeing you next month.

Kevin

I did get the compliment slip, however I wasn’t sure whether to mention it in the blog entry…. just incase you had a massive amount of receipts land on your desk ;)

Look forward to this.
