OK, so I’m not really looking for volunteers to help me on a new mission in life! Kill With Me is a website that has been developed to run along side Untraceable, a movie thats due to hit our screens later this week.
Based on Gregory Hoblit’s crime thriller, the movie promises to be genuinely creepy and suspeneful and a cyber serial killer. The basic plot is a website is created where live video is shown of the victim, and the more people visiting, the quicker he dies.
Obviously, as word gets out, media grabs the story and victim numbers increase, more and more people visit the website, resulting in quicker deaths for the later victims.
It looks like a very good film, if a little borderline offensive, but the online marketing really shows what the internet is capable of. Universal have created the KillWithMe website that not only plays a trailor, but once viewed, takes you to a game where you have to solve clues. The use of Flash is fantastic, and the incorporation of YouTube is also well thought through.
I just wonder if the killer had used Google Adsense, how much he would have made
