We-Send-It.com – Newsletter and Email Campaign Management

We-Send-It.com | Send your affiliate marketing newsletters trouble free

I’m really pleased to announce the official launch of a new business service, We-Send-It.com.

This new service has been launched based on the idea of helping other affiliates reach out to their visitors, making the most of their email subscriber lists. It was created following my own personal experiences when searching for a suitable solution to email newsletters to my subscribers that was effective, reliable and most importantly, cheap!

Many companies out there offer email campagin management but I found their target audience were at the larger end. This results in the smaller business, or affiliates, being unable to afford their services or paying monthly fees that they may not need. Some companies charged monthly fees whether you used their service or not, whilst others tied you into a 6 month or 12 month contract.

The idea of We-Send-It.com is to offer a similar service but on a much smaller scale meaning the costs are lower, with no compromise on the reliability or effectiveness of such a service. We’re also aware that many people aren’t sure of the best way of integrating a newsletter subscription form into their website, or how best to design a newsletter that can be read in all formats. We-Send-It.com takes care of all these issues, providing a customer with a single piece of code to add to their website.

What We Offer
Easy to use interfaceWe-Send-It.com also takes the headache out of managing a mailing list. We reject malformed email addresses and duplicates meaning you’re not over charged per email campaign. We will clean your subscriber lists as and when someone chooses to un-subscribe or when we experience a hard bounce (where the email address no longer exists) or successive soft bounces (continuous Out Of Office replies etc).

The creation of an email campaign is just as simple! Using our easy to use tools you can quickly add your own content, insert images or banners, select the campaign recipients, and schedule the delivery and let us take care of the rest! If you’re planning a holiday, you can even schedule it to be sent out, while you’re lazing around on the beach!

Reporting The Results
Simple, effective reportingReporting is simple and straight to the point! We’ve cut a lot of the crap out that simply gets in the way and have reduced it to the information that actually means something. You can view how many people opened the email, who clicked on what link, whether they forwarded it to friends and what time of day the email was opened.

This type of reporting is all you need to help determine which links worked, which didn’t and with tracking from the networks, you can easily see which sales were generated by your newsletter.

How Much Does It Cost?
As mentioned, the service I wanted to offer was to be aimed at smaller affiliates and I’ve therefore set the cost per email sent, to an absolute minimum. There is a charge of £5.00 per email campaign (or newsletter) and on top of this, a charge of £0.01 per recipient. To give a better idea I’ve created a pricing table giving examples based on different sized distribution lists.

Check It Out
Try We-Send-It.comLike anything, it’s always nice to take something new for a quick spin and see what it really has to offer. I’ve therefore created an demonstration account for you to have a play with. You can create a newsletter from scratch using one of the 6 templates I’ve uploaded, or you can see how detailed the real-time reports are. As long as the distribution list is less than 5, you can even send a newsletter (anything over 5 and you will be asked for payment details prior to it being sent).

I currently have one well established affiliate who is eager to give it a whirl, so I hope that in the coming days you will hear an unbiased view of the service being offered… I just hope its a good review ;)

  1. Sorry mate, you’re using a stock design on that site. Won’t use it until at least that is changed.

Also, is there an API ?

  2. I was looking for a newsletter provider for one of my clients a couple of weeks ago, so looked a t quite a few different companies, and I’d hardly say what your offering is cheap, he sends out a weekly newsletter to 3500 subscribers, with your system that would cost him £240 per month, thats much higher than most of the other companies I found, eg. yourmailinglistprovider it costs him £21 per month

No problem. Yes the photo is from Stock, and the webdesign is a free
CSS template, but guess what… this wont be changing! I am relying on my 7+ years in experience in Affiliate Marketing and the relationship’s I’ve built with other affiliates, networks and merchants rather than a flashy website that doesn’t tell you anything.

Oh yeah… there is an API available but as I won’t be changing to a glitzy “proffessional” unique design or logo, I gues you won’t be needing it!

As I’ve pointed out, its based on a PAYG style meaning smaller affiliates can give it a spin cheaply to test waters without great expense or commitment. Your client would be tied in to a 3 month contract based on those numbers and my aim is to offer the service to smaller affiliates, one that would otherwise be tied into a 6 month contract with some larger providers.

I am not aiming to take over the management of large organisations with huge lists who send out very regular mass mails, just those affiliates like me, that have never mailed their userbase and want to trial it first with small numbers. It’s not a venture, more a service being offered and maybe my pricing shoud reflect this more.

    Cheers

  4. I like it and it does fill a niche in the market. Hopefully I can start collecting the email addresses and send something out soon.

  5. think those costs need rethinking , but i guess these costs are down to createsend.com
also if someone is going to test the waters then they would using start with a free newsletter program or script , then once you are happy and numbers built up you would move onto YMLP or similar.

being tied into a newsltter company for 3 months or even longer would still be cheaper than what you are offering im afraid.
    the costs dont seem viable

Feel free to give me a shout any time or take it for a test drive over at http://www.we-send-it.com

Hear what you are saying, but personally I’ve never plumped for a free trial. They tend to show you the top end tools which you end up paying extra for so wouldn’t recommend it myself.

The backend solution is supplied by CreateSend which is the company responsible for the distribution of the A4U Newsletters. Personally like everything, I’ve found you get what you pay for, and reliability to me is a strong factor to consider and has cost me dearly in the past.

There are even free scripts out there such as PHPList, but again, I personally would avoid at all costs after my own personal experience, especially if your business relies on it.

We-Send-It.com was created to make my life easier, and I’m simply offering the service to others out there. It’s not a big business venture by any means. If one new affiliate makes use of it, and finds it helps then great. If no one uses it, that isn’t a problem as its there for me and my use :)

  8. Do you really thing any super affiliates are going to signup to a newsletter service run and owned by another affiliate?????

    Thats business suicide!

  9. “John Smith”

    - Do you really think I was offering this to Super Affiliates?
    - Do you really think Super Affiliates wouldn’t already have a system/supplier in place?
    - Do you really read blog entries before commeting? “As mentioned, the service I wanted to offer was to be aimed at smaller affiliates “…

If you actually took the time to read the blog entry, you would see that this is not aimed at super affiliates, it is merely a service that I use and I am opening it up to smaller/new affiliates who may not have tried newsletter before. Anyone that does use it, would also have my details where they can get advice from someone who has been in AM for over 7 years!

When/if you become a super affiliate and choose to comment with your proper name and web URL, then you maybe taken seriously, and I may even choose to give you some advice free of charge… you never know!

    Cheerio!

  10. John Smith – why not? If I was in the market for a newsletter provider I woudn’t hesitate to use Frostie’s service. He’s 100% above board and I would have no problems trusting him at all. After all it’s only sending out an email that you send to your users anyway – which anyone can sign up to. It’s hardly sensitive information!

  11. Oh i see so its ok for new/small affiliates to use a service owned and control by a super affiliate just like lambs to the slaughter.

Its even better for you (being a super affiliate) that new/small affiliates use your newsletter service as they will have new ideas in marketing affiliate offers so you can see which sites and in what market area have a high newsletter signup rate and open rate and can use that information to your own advice as you have access to all the data and setup sites in those markets.

i am not saying you will do that its just too much of a gamble for any affiliate big or small to use a service owned by an super affiliate.

As for getting advice for someone being in the game for over 7 years, i have been in the game for over 9 years so i now better and you do too.

As for Kieron comment “it’s only sending out an email” you know better then that Kieron but your superaffiliate hat back on you posted that comment with out it on.

  12. John

Sadly I am not a super affiliate. One day maybe, but right now I am still just a regular OK affiliate.

Despite you claiming to being involved in the industry for 9 years, you obviously don’t know me. You may think others may act in an unscrupulous way and sure there are people like that out there, infact as I don’t know you, you maybe one who acts in such a way. However as I don’t know you, I wont jump to any conclusions – not my way!

If its something you’re not interested in then thats not a problem but had I been offered advice from people involved in the industry for a long time with more knowledge than myself, I would jump at the chance. Infact I did when I first started out!

I’ve learned over the years who I can and can’t trust and you’ll be surprised how you can bonuce ideas off other affiliates and learn from their input. I’m happy in the fact that I am above board, a trusted affiliate my many which is something I pride myself on and something fellow affiliates, networks, agencies and merchants will confirm!

As for the trust game – are you a member of networks whose staff are allowed to be affiliates at the same time?

Wish you luck, but I continue to offer the service and advice to those that would like it :)

  13. Make sure your users read some thoughts on using an email campaign tool,

    http://www.thoughtden.co.uk/blog/2008/10/28/email-campaigns-get-it-right/

So many companies get it soo wrong!
