Having tinkered around for long enough, I’ve decided on a new design for my blog based on the Icyfruits Orange theme with a few unique changes on their way. Hopefully you’ll find the theme a little brighter and a little easier to navigate when compared to the last, and it also gives me additional oportunities to monetise by way of offering advertising space. There are still a few bits and pieces to sort out, a little nip here and tuck there but over the next few days I’m sure it will be finished.
Plans for the future include a similar offering that Kirsty McCubbin currently has on her blog, whereby she publicly helps readers with their websites, with her Ask Kirsty category. Every month I get emails asking me for assistance on a wide range of topics, all related to affiliate marketing. Most I manage to answer and advise, occasionally there are some I don’t have the knowledge or the time to put together a helpful response and so am unable to repsond.
By posting responses publicly, I hope my 7 years in affiliate marketing will help others new to the industry and encourage them to give it a go. It will also enable other affiliates to comment, offering their own advice and sharing their personal experience. This in turn will help other affiliates and continue to mak Affiliate Marketing an industry like no other. Now I just need to go through my emails and start posting and responding to them.
I will continue to keep the Affiliate Marketing Events section up to date. Since introducing it, I’ve received numerous emails from people saying it helps bring to their attention or remind them of forth-coming Affiliate Marketing Events worth attending.
Thats all for now, but let me know your thoughts on the new design and plans ![]()

Horaayy..there are 3 comment(s) for me so far ;)
Hia Chris,
Nice design and I really liked it. Though i didnt liked the header with the black strip of advertise here option. Keep it sticky and would look much better.
All the best.
Cheers
I like the new design, although I don’t get the pictures of fruit. I know it’s based on a fruit theme design but your readers are here for your great affiliate marketing tips rather than fruit recipes - imho!
Do you mean to say that you’re not interested in fruit recipes? Sure you are after the weekend of food programmes we have just had to endure?
As I mentioned “are still a few bits and pieces to sort out, a little nip here and tuck there” - and the juicy orange bits fall under this category you’ll be glad to know
