Exclusive Disconut Codes Wanted

Calling all merchants!

As some of you may know my Discount Code website started driving some major sales towards the end of last year, and I saw a huge increase on behalf of all types of merchants generating just short of £2m in sales. One of my websites is ranked #1 or #2 (depending on how Google feels) for a nice, self explanatory, generic term as can be seen below, and the terms is a biggy and will only get bigger!

Google #1 Position

Why issue me with a unique discount code?
Well, without giving too many secrets away to my competitors, you may have a programme that I don’t even advertise currently. This is probably due to me being unaware that you offer discount or voucher codes. By issuing an exclusive code, you will receive increased exposure in a number of ways.

Introduction to ColdSnail & Discount CodesTo better explain, I have put together a PDF file that looks at my performance last year, projected performance this year and plans I have in the coming months, all of which will benefit merchants. I have emailed (with 5 spelling errors… apologies) to the networks and agencies listed below, and hope they will forward it on to their merchants. Should you not hear from your network/agency, but wish to know more then please drop me a line and I will send it on.

Good luck Frostie. The more Exclusive or even generic shop codes in the arena, is a good thing.

Cheers Ray! I’m quite hopeful based on the feedback from some of the networks so far, but time will tell.

It turns out that, although initially aimed at getting exclusive discounts for my websites, the presentation I’ve thrown together may also help networks/agencies explain to merchants the benefit of introducing a generic code.

Obviously I would prefer exclusives codes and offers, but the more generic codes out there, the more we can all benefit…. Good Karma ;)

Hi Chris. We received your presentation and it certainly makes for interesting reading.
In fact it’s already helped us convince a retailer whom we will be launching this week to give us a Discount Code.
Cheers

Thanks very much for forwarding the presentation Chris; it is both interesting and useful and I have shared with all at TSS. I am in the process of ensuring you have current exclusive codes for all the programs we manage that currently offer them. For those that don’t we will continue to discuss this with them, maybe forwarding your presentation to them or using some of the interesting points you raise to nudge them in that direction! ;)

Hi Chris,

Would you mind sending me a copy of the PDF?

It can only help to educate merchants further.

Thanks!

Hi Chris, I’m interested in a copy, we have one merchant who can probably do something straight away and 2 others preparing for launch

I’m glad that you’ve all found the presentation useful. I’ve sent copies to those people that have requested it via comments or my contact form… HOWEVER, I think I may have accidentally deleted 2 emails asking for copies.

If you asked, and haven’t yet received, or would like a copy, please get in touch and I will forward to you today.

Cheers

Hi Chris,

Mobiles.co.uk can offer you discount codes. I never received the pdf from my network, but would love to look at a copy!

Let me know if you would like a code.

Hi Hannah

I’m surprised and disappointed that the network or account manager hasn’t forwarded it on to you. I did ask them to send it on to as many as possible, after putting a great deal of time and effort into it.

Anyway I’ve emailed the presentation to you, and hope that like other networks, agencies and merchants, you too find this useful, and look forward to sorting something out with you in the near future.
